This Week: Pizza, Frozen Negronis, Crawfish for Cancer
Updated: Apr 15, 2018
Welcome to DC's source for all the things you should be eating, drinking and doing in the district. Here's where to eat, drink, and be in DC this week.
Oath Pizza: The Boston-based pizza chain has recently expanded its reach into DC with the newest location opening in Navy Yard, just in time for Nats season. Get your pre or post-game pizza fix and nosh on seasonal pies like the Crabby Old Baystard topped with Old Bay-seasoned lump crab meat, creme fraiche ricotta sauce, crust bread crumbs, Old Bay aioli, scallions and lemon - the pizza is exclusive to the DC location.
Local chain &pizza is serving up a unique seasonal pie available this month only. A combination of sweet and salty, the Blueprint features garlic ricotta sauce, shredded mozzarella, blueberry, meatball, fig balsamic, goat cheese and basil.
Whether you prefer tequila in shot form or mixed into a margarita, check out my recent roundup of where to drink tequila in DC.
Also opening on the Capitol Riverfront is Due South’s Dockside. On the drink menu, find beers like Pacifico, Due South Lager, and Devil’s Backbone Earned Rum Ale on tap, along with wine, spirits and frose.
6th Annual Crawfish for Cancer DC Boil - From 2-7pm this coming Saturday, enjoy crawfish, an open bar (including beer, wine, spirits, and the popular sweet tea vodka), and live music at Pinstripes in Georgetown. The all-you-can-eat event benefits the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation to further cancer research as a whole. Enter code EATDRINKDC for a special discount on your tickets!
